My professional interests lay at the intersection of editorial strategy (especially for online magazines and newspapers) and user experience design for multimedia platforms.
My definition UX design
My understanding of user-experience is from the perspective of an information architect and interaction designer: employing user-centered design methodologies to make a system more usable for the end-user to achieve their purposes when interacting with the content provided by the site, service, or application.
My master's project
For the last year and half I've been writing and developing content for Go! transportation magazine. For my master's project, I'm currently analyzing and realigning the magazine's content strategy and user experience. Major deliverables will include a new editorial strategy and workflow, and a highly customized content management system.
I'm ready to begin my career
I graduate in August 2010, and I'm looking for a job in user experience or interaction design. You should contact me if you have any good leads.
